• Check Your Vehicle: Tires, antifreeze, wipers & defrosters in top shape ✅

• Winter Emergency Kit: Blanket, flashlight 🔦, water, snacks 🍫, jumper cables, ice scraper, shovel, and sand or kitty litter for traction 🐾

• Drive Slowly & Carefully: Increase stopping distance & avoid sudden moves 🚦

• Use Headlights: Stay visible, even during the day 💡

• Stay Informed: Monitor weather & road updates 📻

• Avoid Travel if Possible: Stay safe and off the roads when conditions are severe 🚫

🏠 At Home:

• Insulate Pipes: Prevent freezing & bursting with insulation or heat tape 🧤

• Seal Windows & Doors: Keep cold air out and save energy 🏡

• Clear Gutters & Roofs: Prevent ice dams & water damage ❄️🧹

I love being involved in our community and spend a great deal of time cheering on my alumni Western Kentucky University and volunteering with Junior Achievement of South-Central Kentucky.
